Happy Valentines Day!

Yay Festivus!

I was not suggesting getting rid of any holidays, nor do I mean in any way to malign anyone’s personal beliefs.

I was [being a smartass by] asking if the constructed aspect of a holiday makes it any less of a holiday, and if so; what do we consider ‘constructed’, and for the sake of argument; could we not consider everything not based on observable natural phenomena or to be ‘constructed’, and if so; does that render the history and culture of many (if not most) holidays to be nullified? (and my answer to that final question would be a resounding ‘NO’, regardless of the answers to the other questions).

Your Views May Vary (which is, IMHO, a beautiful thing).

I like many holidays. Well, the fun ones. Not the “starve yourself” or “beat yourself with a pain stick” ones. But I don’t believe in beliefs.

That’s always been my philosophy.

I’m gonna run my Flat Stanley pal through the pass-through slot so I can post a GF selfie taken by a GF
