I’m considering a project featuring segmented rings, stacked vertically. It would take only 30 or so rings. Made of 8-12 tiny triangles each. Which, of course, I’d offset the glue joints and make a brick-style pattern.

I’ve been considering such a thing ever since I made this…it hasn’t happened yet - but I continue to think about doing it!

[IMG_20191202_204407426] Folks on here were talking about using CA glue to get a shiny surface on wood, that led me to wondering about pens. A quick YouTube video later I figured I could fake it between my Dremel and my Makita I got a Cuban pen kit from Rockler.com for the innards Sadly I didn’t realize I also needed a couple other tools, so a trip to Lowes for a long bolt and nut and once again, me faking it I cut 33 15mm diameter circles, and then 4 to the diameters of the e…
