Head Not Found; Nothing's Moving

Hi. I am a high school Graphic Design teacher. My students create all kinds of cool things for the school district (awards, trinkets, thank you plaques, etc) using our Glowforge Pro HD. It’s been great. Last week, however, it suddenly stopped responding right in the middle of a job. When I go to the web interface, it still shows the material that was in the unit (proofgrade acrylic), which I removed immediately upon failure. I’ve cleaned the camera, crumb tray, carriage plate, carriage plate fan (which was pretty gummed up), contacts between head and carriage plate, and verified that all cables appear undamaged and are firmly plugged in. I submitted a ticket last week, but have only had superficial help (redirecting me to troubleshooting guides) and asking for photos, which I submitted.

The fact that I’m still seeing an image of last week’s material despite the fact that the camera is directly centered over the head, makes me think that the camera and/or camera cable is fried.

Has anyone experienced anything like this? Any tips?

The bed image does not refresh until the machine is online. When you power on the machine does it ever get to “ready”?

Same here! I’ve trouble shot everything I’ve found and I can’t seem to get my print head to stop calibrating… Reset WIFI and reset browser and tried a diff one and moved the print head underneath the camera and restarted. HELP!! S0 much appreciation for reading!
