I need to make a christmas ornament from a logo for the kids at a local school, for their mom’s. I need a 2 piece ornament. I have no idea how to make it, can anyone help?

Can you be a little more specific? A Christmas ornament could be anything. Maybe a picture of something similar to what you have in mind?
Do you have any design software on your computer that you’re familiar with? Have you made other things with your Glowforge, or is it brand new?

I have been given the logo, I do not have design software, I usually buy svgs. This is a community project the kids want to paint for their moms. I would like to have 2 layers.

What are the two layers? What are you cutting and what are you engraving?

I woukd like order of the Kraken engraved on the bottom piece and the to piece to be paintable.

Are you thinking something simple like a wreath shape around the logo, with a hole at the top for a ribbon or hook?

5 inches or so

Well, here is something you might be able to work with. I adjusted it to be 5-inches wide. The tentacles suckers might cause issues and you might want to delete them and have the kids draw their own, but it was the best I could manage with the image and trying to make it colorable and 2 layers. 5 inches is pretty huge for 2 layers, you’ll need a lot of material.

Green-Score
Blue-Inner Cuts
Red-Outer Cuts
At least it’ll give you something to start with.
