ISO: Glowforge Plus Mainboard (NEWER REVISION — WCD SERIAL RANGE)

I need a replacement main logic board / motherboard for a Glowforge Plus.

My serial number begins with WCD-686, which means I specifically need the newer revision of the Plus mainboard (NOT the older revision used in PRH/KCU/etc units).

:check_mark: What my Glowforge is doing:

  • Inside lights turn on

  • Fans turn on

  • But NO button light

  • No relay click when powering on

  • No head movement

  • Only shows a teal button when I hold the button down

  • Won’t boot normally and stays offline

:check_mark: Troubleshooting completed:

  • Reseated lid ribbon cable

  • Reseated hinge cable

  • Hard power reset

  • Reseated all visible connectors on the mainboard

  • Verified the power supply is delivering partial voltage

Everything points to a failed main logic board (Plus model, newer revision).

These are also the exact symptoms of not being able to get a wifi connection.

I assume you’ve troubleshot your wifi situation? A phone hotspot connection test is needed if not. There are help pages about this, I’ll pull them for you.
