HELP reconnect glowforge to same wifi after password change

guys..this should be simple but I cant seem to navigate where to connect to same wifi and change to new password to connect. i hit til teal glow but no connect to wifi visible and if i download comlplete set up exe i just get glowforge symbol. glowforge pro ive had for 5 years

Just to clarify, you have not changed your internet provider or setup?

Yes we changed internet provider. Now glowforge don’t work. Need to know how to reset it back up to new provider

It was hooked up to starlink but then we had to change password so yes internet provider has not changed just password

Hold down the print button until it flashes teal, then go through the setup process as when you first got your machine. Glowforge - the 3D laser printer

You should see your internet listed in the network list. After you click on it to join, you will be asked for the password.

If you internet is not listed in the network list, you may not have a 2.4 gHz band broadcasting. You must have 2.4 gHz (not 5G) for the Glowforge.

We changed to Verizon and the routers use a feature called Self-Organizing Network (SON) that combines both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz into one name. I cant get my Glowforge to connect.

There are a few things you can do to overcome this issue. First, you can contact Verizon and ask how you can turn off the 5G briefly so that you can connect to the 2.4gHz band if you cannot directly address your router. Second, you can use your phone as a hot spot and connect that way. Finally, you can try connecting your old router to the new modem. This solution is “clunky” but can work. I have an ancient (Apple stopped production in 2018) Apple Airport base that holds my music and was my wireless router for a number of years. I use it for my very old Philips Hue bridge as well as my Glowforges.

Of course as with anything chatgpt sone of the details may be wrong but in principle this info seems pretty correct
