Hi All:
I was wondering if I have to wait until I get my printer to download Glowforge app and Inkscape on my Mac. Just trying to get ahead of the game as I won’t get printer until late August.
Hi All:

Nope. Just don’t use the links in the Glowforge support page to download Inkscape, as they point to a previous version.
Welcome!
You can download Inkscape from the project’s site:
https://inkscape.org/release/inkscape-1.0/
Inkscape is open source software and, is not made or directly supported by Glowforge (the company).
For the Glowforge App, it’s a web-based. The login is here:
If you have a working login, you can us it without a machine. I am not sure how that works with machines ordered and in transit but, maybe someone else will know.
Hi: Thanks to all for replying. I know some of my questions are dumb but as they say “the squeaky wheel gets the oil” and I know all of you are smarter than I so bare with me.

There are no dumb questions.
Just people too dumb to ask for help when needed!
As well as Inkscape you will want a good a great raster editor and Gimp goes well for that.
They are questions we have all had at some point, no one here is going to flame you for wanting to understand. All the help you might need lives right here!
Thanks for the answer @evermorian that’s right! I’m going to close this thread - if you have another question, go ahead and post a new topic.
