How do I cut an uploaded image

I uploaded an image and I am trying to CUT through but it only has an “Engraving option”

Bitmap images can only be engraved.

You have to upload vector images to cut (or score.)

This is covered pretty well in the tutorials.

There is an outline option on the right side of the screen that will allow you to cut out around an image that I have found very useful.

Welcome to the forum.

There are a few things to learn if you are new to laser cutting, and one is file type. Vectors cut and score, other files (like photos, bitmaps) engrave. Here is a link to some useful information:

It’s soooooo easy to create files easily in programs like Illustrator, Inkscape, CorelDraw and Affinity Designer if you understand what the Glowforge interface sees when it looks at your file.
