How to create a Test Cut

I’m a newbie like you, and I also have never experience with a laser… but what I think we could do, is only use the values in the glowforge, test them, then use this kind of table (but a small one) only with the values near the values saved in the glowforge.

You can definitely look at the settings. I used it to cut my 1/4 acrylic which was not proofgrade, nor did I have a QR code for. It was the cleanest acrylic cut Ive ever had. Like butter. Put my k40 to shame

[image] As it sits now, PG loaded (or unloaded- as in you manually pick it from the material picker), when you goto ‘manual cut/engrave/score’ it populates the settings it was going to use. Unless you switch to ‘unknown…’ (PG not loaded) it will not let you run the op. But at least you can see what it was going to use and use that as a baseline.
