How to get your designs in the catalog

Hi. I did not know where to put this. Just wondering on how I can become a designer for the catalog. I have some I would like to submit. Thank you!

As someone who just submitted their first, be aware that one of the photos they want is your material laid out like it is after it’s just been cut. I had to fake that shot since I’d long since taken it out of the machine!

Thank you. Do you mean just cut it and leave in bed as is?

Preferably lay it on a white background, but in the same configuration as it was in the bed. It’s for the instructions for putting it together, so you can identify the parts:

I have never seen this requirement…maybe it’s new and somehow I missed it? Did they add it to the ‘how to take photos’ section or something?

I’ve never done that, but do always add photos of assembling. I always forget to start a timer when I begin weeding something, so I can give them an assembly time. I’m so used to doing it without even thinking. :grimacing:

It’s the first picture requirement in the assembly instructions, whether it’s new or not I don’t know as I’ve only done the one!

I have always done this also. It has always been the first step.

Well, doggone! They’ve never refused any of my designs because I didn’t do that. I’ll have to make sure I look next time. Only one that was new in the last year or so was that one had to be taken against a white background.
