Can you cancel it without messing it up? And just turn it off for another day.

Yes. You’ll lose the print, but cancelling, or turning the machine off won’t hurt it.

Thank you that is good to know, this five minute score has already taken a hour and it still isn’t done.

What if you leave the board right were it is and start over with the same files?

It will run everything right back in place - with the caveat that “run everything” means whatever has already ran, will be scored again.
