When I open my canvas to do some laser-based shenanigans, the window is black. (As pictured). I move the focus of the camera, it is black. I upload a design instead of new canvas, it is black. I turn it off and on again, it is black. When I select “capture from camera” it is not black! I get a lovely view of what’s in the bed so I can lay out my design. But when I go back to the canvas… it is black.
How is one supposed to work like this? This is the second time it’s happened. The first time I assumed it was because I had just set it up and the folks over at glowforge had to “enable” my machine, which sounds really silly but you know, people want to keep their secrets.
