Is this ok to laser

Hello. I have a few items that I have already sprayed Rustoleum lacquer on the back and want to engrave a makers mark on the back and did not think to before spraying. Is this product safe for me to laser? Link to product: Amazon.com

Thank you in advance!

The Material Safety Data Sheet will have combustion by-products in there somewhere, I’ll let you read it. You probably know that chlorine is to be avoided.
(The MSDS is a thing. You can Google that for practically any product)

Thank you for the reply and link. I did read it but I am afraid that I don’t know enough about what I am reading to determine if safe to do or not unfortunately though.

Perfectly safe. And you can respray the engraved mark afterwards and the new lacquer will melt into the previous layer giving you a nice finish.

I would ,make very sure it is dry before engraving as the solvents are very flammible,
