Keeps focusing tried all suggestions

My Glow Forge keeps focusing. I cleaned it, made sure everything is attached and I restarted my router, computer and glow forge and just relinked it to the wifi and it is still not working.

Elaborate on “cleaned it” - many problems are the result of cleaning in ways not prescribed by Glowforge. Specifically, if any moisture got into connections, it can fry components.

I cleaned it following all the directions using zeis wipes, cleaned lenses, cleaned camera, cleaned mirror

OK, in that case, it’s possibly just a bad connection. Did you actually unplug/disconnect anything? Just gently re-seating them might cure it.

Look at the focus windows on either side of the LASER lens. If those are fogged up or dirty inside, you’re screwed. Designed to get dirty on purpose. There are some that will charge to clean or buy the $500+ to replace it. If it’s not dirty, might be the ribbon cable that runs on the cross cut track. Ribbon is cheap, replacing it is a designed nightmare. My ribbon went out over a year ago and now I use the preloaded materials in the top left of the design screen. OMTech and Aeon LASER’s are much better machine and very much worth the money.

What on earth kind of a statement is that? That makes absolutely no sense. It’s quite obvious that you’re not a fan of Glowforge, but you also seem not to be a fan of being helpful.

I still think it’s a connection problem, unless the machine has seen an extraordinary amount of use. It was designed as a hobby machine, after all.

Wiregrass has a very comprehensive video on complete disassembly of the head.

The little windows on either side of the beam lens are pretty well insulated from contamination. I know there are instances where machines have gotten really dirty, most likely as a result of poor venting or using materials that generate a lot of smoke - but appropriate venting can help with that. Specifically, if you cut very smokey materials or regularly run very long engraves (not an intended use), then you need to upgrade the venting (external duct fan.) In all the years I owned it, my first machine very rarely needed cleaning beyond the quick wipe of the optics because I upgraded the venting early on.

Gain confidence in looking for issues with these machines. It’s an optics cutting platform. Optics get dirty, machine stops working. Optics get damaged, machine stops working. This machine, all of GF machines in this design, are designed to get dirty. I could say the complete opposite, these machine are designed to run/stay clean, this emotion doesn’t solve problems.
