Kindling "Basket"

Almost hate to show my stuff these days, there are so many beautiful artworks on display.

This will hold pine cone fire starters near the hearth. (Don’t have any salted pine cones at the moment though, use your imaginations.)

Stunning! You keep raising the bar! What a great use of a living hinge…

Worst case of imposter syndrome I’ve ever seen! Yes the bar continues upward but that is very nice.

Did you use any new techniques on it that we need to learn from you?

Chuckle! Nothing new, just stretching a hinge in a different way.

Losing the schedule C was a bright spot in retirement. Man I hated tax time.

Beautiful piece I am glad I did not have to weed it.

All-around beautiful! I really like the living hinge cutout design, too – nice work!

Added benefit.
If out of cones and still want a fire starter…

This was my first thought anyway.
Why did she weed it if it was just going to keep the cones in place!?

In my defense, I am always propping them with something to prevent rolling around.

Oh, what a lovely piece! Really like the way you fanned out that living hinge—it worked out great. And the detail in the base—magnifique!

I also do my mom’s taxes, but I’m lucky—she does a great job of saving the paperwork and that helps me a lot. Best of luck!
