Kraft paper notebooks

I am wanting to know if it is safe to use the glowforge on Kraft paper

Yes.

Yes, you can cut, score and engrave all kinds of paper products (paper, cardstock, chipboard, cardboard, etc). It’s all safe for the laser, just be sure you watch the job since paper products can also be set on fire.

Also do you remember what settings you used to engrave these

2000 speed, full power, 270 LPI.

Your Glowforge Basic is not capable of 2000 speed, so you’ll have to figure out your own settings.

Engraved correct?

Yes. Cuts and scores only have two settings: speed and power. Engraves have a third (and sometimes more): LPI or lines per inch.
