I’ve been thinking that there must be a tool or technique for spreading wide swaths of glue, but I hadn’t gotten as far as looking for one… Rockler glue roller tool. Need!

Have you ever tried a piece of broken hacksaw blade, or similar, as a glue spreader ?
Something with about 10 tpi might be good for big areas.
Or you might even make your own out of acrylic, if you had a means of cutting it accurately.
