Was in the middle of a project, it engraved, scored and was in the middle of cutting and quit cutting.

If you provide more info, we MIGHT be able to help you, but ultimately you’ll need to contact Glowforge directly. They don’t monitor the forum.

Thank you. I’m not sure how much more I can provide. I loaded my file onto the canvas, my machine was working great, it did all the engraving, then the one score that was needed. It started cutting the final step and it had three more cuts and the machine was still going but the laser was not illuminated therefore did not cut.

I’m in the same boat, it did one cut, was kind of patchy so I reset it and then nothing. I’ve tried cleaning everything, resetting it twice, doing 3 different cuts on proofgrade, the gift of good measure, all of it with no light in the tube. It’s most likely completely done for as far as my research has shown thus far. The laser portion is burnt out. and mine out of warranty is now useless. My friend has a cheap off brand laser that he runs everyday and has had half the problems I’ve had with this machine that cost literally 10x as much. Glowforge has a great marketing department and a poor engineering department.

If your machine has been operating since your last post 6 years ago, it seems you have had a pretty good run. When the machine stops firing suddenly, it is usually an issue with the high voltage (red) wire shorting out or the power source. You can contact Glowforge support or the one repair shop they have authorized Wiregrass Technology.
