My laser stopped firing this morning in mid cut. It will not engrave or score either. HELP! I have the Pro.
More info needed. Did the machine just stop? or did the cutting stop but everything keep moving? What was the temperature in the room? What did the GFUI say? I had my pro stop over temperature, but it was a couple minutes before the GFUI said “over heating” which I thought was weird but I waited a half hour before continuing and did not have the problem again.
Pictures of the GFUI useful as well as the material shown inside the machine. Also if I had just let the machine sit after it stopped, it would have continued after cooling from where it left off but lifting the lid etc. it will not start from where it shut down.
All the machines are very sensitive to ambient heat. The Pro less than the rest but even 80 degrees in the room will cause it to overheat, and cooler can still overheat if it is doing a lot of work (as mine was)
