Leather Patch for Hats

What is everybody using to attach leather patches to baseball hats?

Hey Folks, Been tryingt o learn and teach myself with the glowforge and doing leather patches for hats. I have gotten good and sewing, laser, designing etc etc. But I have two problems that arose that I cannot figure out. Some of my hats do not require stitching and I have failed at finding a superb adhesive/glue/Bonding agent that will hold this patch onto hat no matter the weather and cannot be just simple peeled off with your hands. I use commercial sticky back acrylic hook embroidered or sewn on to the patch.

Here is what I use and it works great in the embroidery machine. There is no name brand on the packaging and comes 10 roles to a master carton. It comes from one of the many companies that supplies packaging materials to manufacturing companies.

I would try hot glue made for fabric. This one even lists leather and it is supposed to be machine washable once dry.

Tiny little double cap rivets work too, and look nifty!
