I saw this has been brought up here but the topic was closed before I could see any answers.
I have a brand new lens and I am installing it into the head correctly, but once I start a print, it comes loose and moves halfway down the printer head.
Has anyone had this happen, and if so, were you able to find a quick solution?
The lens moves up and down in the printhead. That is how it focuses on things 1/2" away as well as .001" away.
It completely falls out though when I remove the print head.
Is there a magnet stuck to it? If so, that’s the magnet that’s supposed to hold it in place. In that case it could be very carefully glued back on its seat in the head.
It definitely should not fall out.
