Oh no. That stinks. Post some pictures of the separation here to help us assess.
Are you still under warranty? If not, there are some folks who were able to do a lid repair on their own.

I’m so sorry to hear about the trouble with the lid. I can give you permission to glue it back together yourself. It’s not a repair we support, so I don’t have any specific advice.
Could you please post some photos of the lid? In your post, let us know if you are interested in sending your printer in for repair and we can follow up with more information.
