It sounds like its going to take off! Still cuts well but afraid to keep using it! Help!
Assume the sound is somehow different than before? From day one my exhaust fan has been very loud. Are you venting directly or using a filter? If using an external filter do you not have the filter option enabled, which shuts down the exhaust fan.

One thing I noted on mine is that the fan gets progressively louder when it needs to be cleaned. It’s like the gunk accumulation throws it out of balance and makes the entire unit resonate. (Note, this was the fan attached to the glowforge head. YMMV)

I’m so sorry to hear that you’ve hit this snag. Would it be possible to upload a recording of your Glowforge while printing, so that we can attempt to narrow down the sound you’re hearing?
