So, could someone explain how in the heck my lines are disappearing from score to engrave? Using AI.
You’re changing Score to Engrave and the associated piece of artwork disappears from the preview window? I’m guessing because the shape has no fill, so when you tell it to engrave it sees that there’s nothing to do so nothing gets displayed. Needs to have a fill to engrave, my understanding anyway…

Score follows the path, engrave does the fill. So if you draw a filled rectangle, score will draw an empty rectangle and engrave will fill it in.
In the case you posted, it’s hard to see from the screen shots, but one guess is an expanded stroke on the triangle will give two paths for the stroke, but only the space between them for the engrave.
Perhaps if you attach the svg, we can be more precise.

@randy.cohen had it right there was no fill and it got missed. Next time Ill attach the svg thanks for the adivce!
