The no artwork error is constant Have tried copy paste tried shutting it down and reloading. Any other tricks
A screenshot of the interface (all of it) would be helpful.
If any part of a design is outside of the cuttable area, it will ignore the entire piece. I have seen folk have a tiny spot off to the outside of what they wanted will cause the entire thing to hit ignore.
When you highlight the design it will make a rectangle around the whole thing and that has to be inside the cutting area which may be itself be more narrow than if there was only score or cut items.
yes this has happened to me before
i zoom out and select all and suddenly find some random thing selected far away from the main drawing.
It commonly happens if you are engraving and designed the file to fit the max printable area, but the settings for the engrave make it narrower than the full cut dimensions.
As stated, select your artwork after having made your setting choices, then zoom out to see if it fits in the area that is not greyed out.
That error has nothing to do with the “No artwork” message - suggest you start your own thread.
The NO ARTWORK message is like someone said, pull your design into the middle of the bed. For some reason when I had a piece of 12x20 wood in place but had cut out part of the wood in another project I kept getting the NO ARTWORK. As soon as I cut off the piece that I had used, moved new project more into center it worked like a charm. Bottom line: the lens I guess can’t read the image very close to the L and R edges. It may be an issue some day but I’m new to this and problem was solved:-)
For the sake of accuracy: the no artwork message has nothing to do with the lens reading anything, or what’s inside the machine. It is purely a matter of positioning your design within the printable area.
The picture you see on the screen is only for your reference. Apart from reading the QR code to set the material type, it is not used by the software in any way.
