Says we can modify the commercial licensed material. How do you download it to modify in an external program?
You can only modify within the interface. You cannot export Glowforge designs.

Somed items have text you can modify directly in the GFUI, and of course you can bring in anything you might wish to add like a name etc.

Anyway to reach out to creator? I like the design of what they created, but I am trying to make it taller. By stretching, skews everything else and I can’t fix that.

If there are parts you could stretch those but in general no unless you size it taller and wider.

Depends on if they are on the forum or not. A lot of the designers are, but a good chunk are not. Also, if the original designer submitted the item as exclusive to the catalog, reaching out to them, they legally can’t sell you the design. Depending on the design though, there are ways to alter it in the interface.
Curious which one you’re trying to make taller. If the design details are getting stretched, it may be possible for you to “ungroup” it by right clicking it. That could potentially separate the items that you don’t want skewed.
