More update of filament storage project

Made major progress with over 80 spools stored, label lasering way better with air assist turned off as durablack labels are so light I think even with blue tape hold owns they fluttered. A few of the fronts need to be squared up after installation, going to use the CNC to spot the screw holes for mounting

This is an update post to this

No, just indicated, it’s open on the sides but I thought about it, but that would be the world’s largest dry box which seemed a whole other engineering challenge…

Of course in classic project fashion my wife is helping me load the drawers and picks up a spool “Where does this “TPU” go?” “Oh it goes in the… Oh crap!” :man_facepalming:

This is amazing, I love it. I need something like this! Then my wife would be complaining less about spools of filament being everywhere…

I love the dichotomy of the neatness and order of the drawers and the disarray of in progress projects in the background

Looks like my shop - here there will be order in the wilderness!

This could very likely be my next exploration. Though I don’t think I will need quite as large of a storage system.

Unless I do!
