Old photo of our home town engraved on proofgrade ply.
Like that you made a name plate as well. Turned out really nice. Certainly worthy of a frame! Well done!
Thank you! I think im going to love this thing! Great addition to the woodshop!
I always wanted a woodshop … and the Glowforge only makes me want one more! We did buy a router last weekend, and gave that a go. Pretty cool!
Nicely done. No steer horns though?
Or barbed wire!
Peoples first projects are killing me. My first was the equivalant of a 5 YO crayon drawing! How do you imporve when you start like this?
Welcome to the community, nice job for first project.
Oh great job!
Wow, nice start! You are going to make some very cool things.
Routers are fun! Lots of dust! Lol.
And make sure to wear respiratory protection when routing MDF.
Welcome to the forum. Great first project. keep them coming.
That might make a cool 3D engrave…
Lol! I live in Providence Village.
Ok Im super new to this… what is a 3d engrave? And how do I try it out!?
I’m pretty sure you could label this photo with the name of pretty much ANY small Texas town in the 1970s (especially if the name of the dry goods store was obscured a little), and even people who lived there wouldn’t know any better.
