We just got a glowforge in the office and even with the filter I notice an odor. Is there still a slight odor even with the filter? Does everyone wear a mask? If so, what mask do you use? engraving and cutting acrylic

Welcome to the forum.
I do not wear a mask. Whenever you cut/engrave an item, there will be a bit of smoke left under the material that will escape when the lid is opened. Depending on what you are cutting, the items will continue to off gas after the cut. Some things are worse than others. For me, wool and leather are the most offensive. You can place cut items in bins with charcoal or remove them from the office space. Some users invest in air purifiers.
