Japanese crayons are really soft…like oil pastels, although I don’t know if that’s actually what they are. I almost bought a set last week when I was at Uwajimaya, just out of nostalgia (I spent most of my first 10 years in Japan), but my grownup side said I needed to justify the purchase. I wish I’d thought of Glowforge items as a potential use!

I’ll be back down in that area later this week. Maybe I’ll stop in again, and get them. :slight_smile:

Yeah, I picked up a fresh set of oil pastels while I was at it. My old ones are in fragments.

Well, I don’t have those but Marabu art crayons. Different design, same principle. These are super soft easy to use and water-soluble.
