I wonder how these might work:
I believe @bailey has used something similar to this before.
Kinda. Looks like it was an acrylic paint stick.
Dang it! I’ll let you know.
Japanese crayons are really soft…like oil pastels, although I don’t know if that’s actually what they are. I almost bought a set last week when I was at Uwajimaya, just out of nostalgia (I spent most of my first 10 years in Japan), but my grownup side said I needed to justify the purchase. I wish I’d thought of Glowforge items as a potential use!
I’ll be back down in that area later this week. Maybe I’ll stop in again, and get them.
Yeah, I picked up a fresh set of oil pastels while I was at it. My old ones are in fragments.
Doggone it, you guys have got to stop linking to all these cool toys! (I’m looking at you, @evansd2! You’re becoming an enabler.)
I don’t make the news, I just report it
You create rabbit holes! As if there weren’t enough already! ![]()
Well, I don’t have those but Marabu art crayons. Different design, same principle. These are super soft easy to use and water-soluble.
