That’s gonna have no problems at all running down dissidents :-/
The tech is cool, I’ll give it that.

One of my favourite kinds of art - so beyond my abilities it’s not even funny, which is what makes me love it so!

Scale it up just a little for easier riding and you’ve got the next generation “tour the city on a XXX” vehicle!

Unitree has been pushing their beast quite a lot lately. I think I have seen six or more references. The wheels make it much faster than the Boston Dynamics but nowhere near as many gadgets for it. Reworked to be a power chair that could also climb rocks or walk on the beach would be much more interesting.

This is wild, finding ancient dugout canoes in the American Midwest that date from the same time period as the great pyramids in Egypt.

I can’t imagine where they get printer paper to use as the base material. Never thought it was different from regular paper too.

Iron mountain’s business model is mostly shredding printer paper.

That’s just one of many companies who recycle office paper on a staggering scale. That much paper will make a lot of tissues

That’s amazing. Paper is so recyclable.

OK, this is a weird one, but this is for non-laser things and I’d say this definitely qualifies.

If you’ve never tried tteokbokki it’s kind of like a combo between ramen and udon noodles. It’s chewy and savory, makes a great snack or light meal. It’s a Korean street food, and this is a really inexpensive time to try it.

Each pouch contains two servings even though it says pack of one. It’s really easy to make and a cooks in literally 2 minutes.

You can just eat it straight or you can add things to it to make it a little more fancy. Personally I like to add some green onions and some peas and then top it with a fried egg. There are a few different flavors, some are spicy and some aren’t… But if you want to try it now is the time because these sales don’t come along that often and they sell out.

Everyone loves a tasty treat!

Many years ago when I worked at a gold mine in Nevada, we contracted with a company from Idaho that recycled paper. They’d come to the mine once a week and collect enough “trash” paper to fill a semi truck. And that was paper from just one mine. I don’t know if the other mines in the area used them or not.

I wonder, with the advanced technology of computers and people not using as much paper (or so I would think, since so many use email instead of postal mail, notes and memos on computer instead of typed out, etc.), if that reduces the amount of paper being used?

I know I used to make my own paper from recycled paper for crafting. It’s fun. Which reminds me - I still need to make @geek2nurse 's “paper making doohickey” paper press in the Free Designs. I’ve had it in my files since I first got my GF!

Wonder no more!

Interestingly enough it says both out of stock, and available depending on where on the page you look - so I gave it a shot. We’ll see on Monday

I think that some of the flavors are out of stock, hence the confusion. Garlic went down to $2.99 and people snapped it up.

Btw shout out to camel camel camel for sending me the price alert. I set it up almost a year ago!

I have alerts on a few things like tide detergent and tteokbokki. You know, the essentials
