There’s a pc survival game called Rust that you build bases in. Door locks are important to keep other players out and from stealing the resources you collect. If you’re in a group, they have access keypads. Work just like a pin pad. Someone sat down and combed the Rust databases to figure out the most and least used PIN codes so they could try and PIN code raid other peoples bases by brute forcing the codes and popping open the locks.

the name / description made me think at first it was direct printing, but it’s really still transfer printing. just able to print on a wider variety of materials.
