Off topic - calling Pacific NW artists

Continuing the discussion from This Forum (And It's Users) Is Incredible:
and

I just learned about this charity: http://www.rachellynnhenleyfoundation.org/ . They requested an item from Levitada for their upcoming auction (http://www.rachellynnhenleyfoundation.org/2017auction) at the end of April in Tacoma, WA. I was just so moved reading about the charity (and still warm-hearted by KyleQuinn’s post about how wonderful this forum is), so thought I’d help spread the word:

The charity is devoted to helping kids cope with cancer. If you are an artist who might have something to donate to their auction, please follow the above links and/or if you live in the Olympia area, PM me and I’ll get you in touch with my Olympia contact who is collecting donations.

Thanks for sharing, I’ll see what I can do! I had bone cancer when I was 5, 32 years in remission and still kickin’!

They picked up a couple of pieces today.

They asked for the little orca barrette that I had up on Levitada and when I heard their story, I added one of the peacock feather barrettes that I make in memory of a friend who lost her battle with cancer.

It’s a cause that’s dear to my heart, so I was very glad to be able to give something. Thanks so much for connecting us @cynzu!

Thanks so much. Your work is gorgeous, and I’m so happy that Levitada seems to be doing some good out there.
