Okay I did something that the instructions said not to do

Yep. When putting the print head into my new machine, I accidentally touched the yellow window … not once, but twice! Should I do anything? Can it be cleaned? I’ve not turned on the unit yet.

Not a problem. Use a Zeiss wipe and clean your finger print off of the window. You will be doing this lots and lots of times over the course of your machine’s life.
