I was so excited, took off work tomorrow and the left orange knob is absolutely locked on there. I tried pliers (gently) and a hex in the center as suggested on another post. Am I really going to have to repackage this thing and send it back? Come on 4K for a machine and I cannot do anything because of a knob being stuck.

A photo would be descriptive. If I understand, it’s a shipping screw that locks the gantry. I would use whatever force is required to unscrew it, up to and including vice grips. It shouldn’t be any more than hand tight.
