Out of nowhere my aura started pausing the cuts because it was overheating. I noticed a lot of debris on the little fan that is on top of the laser. What caused this to all of a sudden build up?
It really depends on what you’re cutting for soot and particles to accumulate.
Generally the reason for overvalued is not that fan getting clogged.
Make sure you are falling within the operating environment for your laser. https://support.glowforge.com/hc/en-us/articles/360034142333-Operating-Environment
If you keep your air assist fan clean, things will go better. https://support.glowforge.com/hc/en-us/articles/20556481568283-Cleaning-Your-Air-Assist-Fan-Craft-Series
Thank you!
Thank you!
I think you’re right… I got some cheap wood from Amazon and it seems to just build up quicker on the fan.
Anything with MDF is tough on the big machines being hard to cut and very dirty. On Aura they recommend never using it.
