Paper House #2

Same architect, different building. This time I used a different paper for the roof, should have done that for the previous house also. See my Paper House topic for details:

Here’s a toothpick for scale reference:

This one has interior floors- shiny interior floors, which I think look cool.

I love your adorable, tiny but architecturally correct houses! Keep ‘em coming!

Oh yes, the contrasting roof makes a huge difference!

I’m betting you could engrave the brick & stone work in too - with a very light touch!

Thanks! Did you notice the double detail layer? What did you think? Just doubling the thickness, which is what I did, wasn’t very subtle. Parhaps the golden ratio (+61.8%) would have looked better…

I did! At first I thought it was engraved on the top, but you can see that ~slight~ shadow when you look closely

I could probably have engraved instead - or even better - used a slightly different paper for one level of the detailing.

There’s a lot to be said for the actual 3 dimensionality of the layering - plus it shows off how steady your hands must be!

I don’t see a toothpick, is it underneath that telephone pole?
