It’s really common in origami circles. One thing that’s nice about it is that you can fold it and then flatten it back out in a lot of times you can’t see where the fold was. It’s kind of a “soft” paper if that makes sense. It’s very forgiving when you’re doing things like wrapping gifts or folding certain types of origami models
Oh, man! You had me excited for a minute there by mentioning a paper vendor and Spoonflower together. A place that custom-printed nice kozo or similar paper in big sheets would be too cool.
I think you should stick to designing, and leave the production to someone like me that has space but no talent. I wonder how much paper I would have to print and ship to justify a new tool. I would really love to have an excuse to buy a fabulous printer. If it didn’t work out, it would be a tax deduction so win win. Right?
