I adapted your design further to make a magnifying lens holder - another little present to bring to my friends who don’t have smart phones with built-in magnifiers!
The pocket lenses I get on Amazon. The layer in between is a veneer layer only.

Love the idea. Thanks for the link to the lenses, I use them and too often mess them up and getting a quantity cheap is helpful. Also love the microscope clip art.
