Pocket watch box (Dr. Who)

My Nephew (a Dr. Who enthusiast) just went on a Church mission, and My sister got him a Pocket Watch, It’s gorgeous, but the paperbox it came in, along with the crappy foam holder, not so much.

So whats an Uncle to do?

I figure if you have the tools… This is why I got the in the first place.

Thanks, this was very helpful as a starting point for 10mm EVA foam with the Basic. First try was Speed 275 Power 100 Passes 3 This cut through, but melted the under edge and left it undesirable. Speed 275 Power 100 Passes 2 This cut through mostly, but several places had to be finish cut with a knife. EVA Foam Settings for Cosplay Projects

[2020-01-04 14.56.56] I personally used 325 speed 100 power and but the one pass. This is 5mm EVA foam [20200111_141842] I got this foam from Joann’s but good luck finding it. They had 5 different foams 3 of them NOT laser safe in 5 different areas. be very certain of the foam type. This stuff is totally laser safe.

Are you using the HF rolls, or prefer sheets/tiles from other sources?

I got the EVA foam from Joanns, it was 3’ by 4’ for $15… there might be cheaper elsewhere but after 4 hobby shops I was VERY happy to get a couple sheets and be on my way.
