I am trying to find out if it is safe to use polycarbonate plastic sheets in my glowforge and input? My neighbor has several sheets he offered me but I do not want to ruin my machine.
In geneal, it’s safe, but does not cut well.

Polycarbonate does not laser very well. Thin material will cut but the cut area will be yellow and sooty. It also likes to flare up, so best to avoid it.
