Just got a replacement, and the new Glowforge is having an odd issue the last one did not. On the cuts, including proofgrade, it seems that the laser is getting surges in power, making the cuts have dots. It’s pretty consistent in distance, and almost makes me think it’s the motors having stepping issues. Anyone else have this? If so, how did you solve it?

That’s flashback from the laser hitting the honeycomb tray and reflecting back onto the piece. Reducing power just a hair reduces it.
