Yep. Another reason to rework the design. You must be a beader too!
Is this the airbursh system you mentioned? I bought one of these about a year ago and use it with Spectrum Noir markers although it did come with an adapter for Copic markers. It’s a little touchy. I got OK results with it and have been meaning to dig it out recently to give it another shot.
No, Copic makes their own system. It can use a small compressor or pre-filled cans of air. I have not used one, but the videos I have seen make it look pretty decent.
I have it and it works great. I use the Copic hand piece with a third party compresser.
That looks like a similar concept but with a better supply of air. The results are much better than I got with my system.
I have a little Testors compressor that never really worked great for pushing paint, but maybe it would drive the copic system… don’t think I would require a spray booth to use it inside, and that is very intriguing.
Here’s the one I have:
Master Airbrush Compressor with Water Trap and Regulator, Now Includes a (FREE) 6 Foot Airbrush Hose and a (FREE) How to Airbrush Training Book to Get You Started, Published Exclusively By Master Airbrush https://www.amazon.com/dp/B001BJFHAW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_w685ybV2CE5GW
Look up Copic’s psi on their compressor. I’m thinking it was like 50 psi.
The earrings were a big hit at Maker Faire. I would talk to people and show them what I do and then I’d pick up the earrings and show them and explain how they were made. Oos and awes all around! They sold at least one Glowforge. The woman who was most interested in them and asked all kinds of questions on Saturday came back at the end of the Faire on Sunday beaming: I just bought a Glowforge! Thanks @cynd11 for giving them to me for display.
That’s fantastic! I hope you gave her your referral code! In fact, I would think all the PRU and beta people who were there would feature their referral code prominently in their booth signage.
that’s awesome; i get a real kick when that happens to me, usually they end up really pleased with their purchases. you’re becoming an authority on a greater (laser) power!
@macphee had a great sign with his referral code. I finally printed one on Sunday. Heck, I don’t even have my code on my YouTube channel.
I’m not ready to do this full time, but it was a blast and I could see doing it again. I would do Maker Faire, Kansas City but I have an anniversary that day. Looking forward to seeing who of the PRUs or owners will be at NYC Maker Faire.
Did she get to take it away from the show or was it on six week delivery?
I’m sorry but
