Y’all, I am so sorry to report that I do not have pictures of the gingerbread going down in a blaze of glory this year. It has been so wet and windy that it just wasn’t a good day to burn, so into the trash it went. A moment of silence was not observed, because it was only a gingerbread house. However, I’m already looking forward to next year’s creation, and wondering how I will top it. And hoping the glowforge will be the difference between “pretty cool” and “holy crap that’s awesome!”

I can’t wait to see what you come up with to top the Biltmore. (Maybe you should do some mid year cookies, just to stay in practice.)
