Print Head malfunction after black lid cable replacement/air assist clean

I was receiving a “offline” message and my print head wouldn’t move upon powering it on. So I cleaned my air assist fan and replaced the black lid cable. My machine now allows me to cut but it is not cutting out the correct shape and the print head glides all the way to the left almost “bumping” the print head. I am not sure if I connected the print head incorrectly or if I need to calibrate machine.

Calibration probably is not the answer. With the machine off, put a mirror on the floor of the Glowforge and inspect the belt as you glide the printhead left and right. Are the teeth facing in? Any twists in the belt? Does the printhead move smoothly all the way left and right? Is the white ribbon cable clicked in properly and without a twist?
