Exactly what @dklgood said? If you cut it out and put your tile exactly where it was without moving it, and, don’t move your design on the screen, it will ‘look’ off but will engrave exactly the right place!!
Glad it is going better. You will also get the best camera alignment if you place your material and design directly under the lid camera. The further away from the center, the more your alignment will be adversely affected by the fish eye lens of the camera.
