Printer Head Not Registering

My machine is not finding the printer head. I’ve checked all the 5 connections in the lid, confirmed the lens is in correctly, disconnected and reconnected the white ribbon, removed and reattached the belt and carriage, confirmed the arm and carriage all move easily. I don’t have anything in my bed other than the honeycomb tray. I’ve refreshed my wifi connection set up and moved the head to directly below the lid lens. All of these things did not resolve. I’m fairly certain it’s the white ribbon causing the problem based on the sound it’s making when it tries to work (revs almost). When I turn it on it sometimes comes off focus to centering but never gets past either stage. I’m attaching all the images in hopes of speeding up a fix/answer!! Thankfully I am under warranty until the end of the month.

I suspect that you have removed the head carriage plate and replaced the belt backward. The teeth need to go inside, not outside.

Do you get an error that the head doesn’t register or does the head just not move from side to side and your machine can’t find the print head because it can’t move the print head because the teeth aren’t engaging the pulley?

Thank you so much! You’re right, I had cleaned the air assist and put the belt on the wrong side. User error at it’s finest.
