Once it is cut, the notches are not sliding together. Any suggestions?

one sheet of thick maple and one sheet of draftwood same thickness

Thick maple is not going to work for a design that is scaled to medium (1/8) material. The slots are designed to accept 1/8" material and so changing the material without changing the slots will result in failure.

ok so I need to cut both sheet out of 1/8" for it to work? And so do one sheet 1/4" and one 1/8"?

This design is for 1/8" material only. All items should be cut from 1/8" material as indicated on each page of the design.

I not sure if the designer actually cut the project that was submitted, or the listing is wrong. I don’t see how it fits on only one sheet.

There are two pages if you actually download the project. Each page is for 1/8" material.
GF should probably correct the listing, then - it clearly says 1x 1/8" Maple Ply.
Someone once posted who to contact, I have no idea. I’ve never used any catalog designs.

Kind of misleading then. Prior to purchase, you should know how much material would be needed.
