Please help my proof grade wood is not cutting through, i tried many different things and frankly I am getting tired of wasting my wood as that is wasting my money. Can anyone add insight to this problem I not having any issues with anything else. the glowforge materials
Welcome to the community. Are you using the presets for proofgrade without changing any of them? Is your material flat…not warped? Are your optics and fans all clean?
One good way to test…and what support will use to diagnose…is to cut the gift of good measure file. If that comes out well, then it could perhaps be your file.
Give those things a try and let us know how it goes.

The selling point for Proofgrade is that if it fails when using their presets they’ll replace the sheet. Just send a note to Support.
