She did! She was very happy to get a very nice ring (I know because I picked it out for her grandmother), and loved the box. It’ll be a while before they can get married due to all the backlog and restrictions around the DC area here.

did you have to resize this at all??
No, I used Proofgrade plywood and the design worked fine for that. I might have had to sand just a tiny bit to get things to go together.
